The Krasnoyarsk Branch of JSC “VO “Safety” Summed Up the Results of Activities of the Training and Methodological Center within 2019

The Training and Methodological Center of the Krasnoyarsk Branch of JSC “VO “Safety” summed up the preliminary results of the educational activities within 2019. As compared to the previous year, the audience number increased by 136 people.

Mr. Alexander Matvievsky, deputy director – head of the Training and Methodological Center of the Krasnoyarsk Branch of JSC “VO “Safety”, told that 7 educational programs were efficiently implemented and 6 training workshops with participation of 14 instructors and specialists were held in 2019. 5,137 members of the audience comprising 259 employees of JSC “VO “Safety” and 103 members of the training workshop audience passed the training. Based on the performance results, the staff of the branch earned an honorable mention of JSC “Krasnoyarsk Regional Energy Utility”, JSC “Yenisey TGK (TGK-13)”, Branch Krasnoyarsk TPP-2 of JSC “Krasnoyarsk TPP-1”, JSC ‘RUSAL Achinsk Alumina Refinery Plant”, JSC “Achinsk Oil Refinery Plant of the Eastern Petroleum Company”, LLC Management Company “MKD Control Center”.

In 2019, the Center obtained new equipped training rooms, increased the working areas of instructors and trainees, and arranged the activity of platforms for discussion of the hydraulic engineering structures’ safety issues and performance of training workshops. Besides, new educational programs were introduced, additional activity areas were launched, and qualified specialists were involved for the activity.

It should be pointed out that the Training and Methodological Center of the Krasnoyarsk Branch of JSC “VO “Safety” carries out activities in the following areas: Training of managers and specialists in safe operation of electrical installations and electric equipment, thermal power plants and thermal networks; Training in industrial safety and safety in human-induced areas of industry and power engineering sectors. TMC also provides occupational training, retraining and advanced training in vocational professions for the power engineering and some other industry sectors.

Specific computer codes, visual aids, video and audio materials are used during training of personnel. Besides, remote training is also used to enable the companies’ employees enhance their educational level on-the-job.

The following areas of the TMC activities were determined as the upcoming areas for 2020: Development of new trends of training and updating of implemented training programs, testing and assessment materials, training and methodological materials as per requirements of RF legislation, requirements of employers and occupational standards; Activities related to logistical and information support of the TMC; Strengthening of the TMC presence in the eastern group of the Extreme North regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (the town of Norilsk, Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets Municipal Area, Evenki Municipal Area), in the Irkutsk Region as well as Republic of Tyva.
