Joint Stock Company “VO “Safety” performs activity on safety review (safety analysis review) of nuclear facilities and (or) types of activities in the field of atomic energy use based on license GN-13-115-3946 dd. 29.10.2020 valid till October 29, 2025.

According to the Act dated 13.10.2017 of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor) Commission, JSC “VO “Safety” is recognized as a scientific and technical support organization of Rostechnadzor and is entitled to conduct safety review (safety analysis review) of nuclear facilities in relation to which a  permanent state supervision regime was introduced as per Federal Law No. 170-FZ dated 21.11.1995, and (or) types of activities in the field of atomic energy use performed at such facilities or in relation to such facilities by operating organizations.

Facility at or in relation to which activity is implemented:

• nuclear installations (structures and complexes with nuclear reactors, including nuclear power plants, structures and complexes with industrial, experimental and research nuclear reactors, critical and sub-critical nuclear test benches, other structures with nuclear materials, complexes, installations for their generation, use, processing, transport of nuclear fuel and nuclear materials);
• radiation sources;
• nuclear materials and radioactive substances storage facilities, items, storage facilities and radioactive waste storage facilities;
• fuel assemblies of nuclear reactors;
• irradiated fuel assemblies of nuclear reactors;
• nuclear materials;
• radioactive substances;
• radioactive waste.
