The JSC “VO “Safety” Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory is certified in the Unified Conformity Assessment System in the field of industrial, environmental, energy and construction safety, for carrying out the following types of testing:

  • Visual and dimensional testing;
  • Ultrasonic thickness measurement of metal materials;
  • Ultrasonic flaw detection of base metal and welded joints of equipment;
  • Liquid penetrant testing of materials and welded joints;
  • Acoustic emission testing;
  • Magnetic particle testing;
  • Vibration diagnostic tests;
  • Thermal testing.

The JSC “VO “Safety” Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory renders services related to testing of equipment and materials by non-destructive testing methods during the manufacture, construction, installation, repair, reconstruction, operation, technical diagnostics of such facilities as:

  • Boiler supervision facilities;
  • Gas supply and gas distribution systems;
  • Hoisting structures;
  • Oil and gas industry equipment;
  • Equipment of explosive and chemically hazardous facilities;
  • Buildings and structures (civil facilities);
  • Electric power equipment.

The Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory has an integrated management system in place that conforms to the field of activity, nature and scope of activities run by the Laboratory.

The Laboratory is equipped with its own tools that enable performance of non-destructive testing activities within the frames of its certification area.

The Laboratory is employing personnel certified as per the established procedure, who have passed the necessary professional training, possess the theoretical knowledge and practical experience necessary for carrying out the non-destructive testing activities.

The main purposes of the Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory activity are as follows:

  • Minimization of accident risks and enhancement of level of equipment operational safety at hazardous production facilities (HPF);
  • Inspection of compliance of the facility under supervision with the requirements of the current regulations and technical documentation;
  • Quantitative and qualitative assessment of identified deviations and determination of their danger level;

Timely identification of various malfunctions at various stages of permanent infrastructure facilities construction.
