Conformity Assessment of Equipment Supplied to Russia-Designed Foreign NPPs
The specialists of JSC “VO “Safety” carry out activities related to conformity assessment of equipment in the framework of contractual relations with JSC AKKUYU NUCLEAR for the Akkuyu NPP units being constructed.
They carry out activities related to quality control of spare parts, tools and accessories for the five-year operation period for the main equipment in the framework of contractual relations with JSC Atomstroyexport for Units 1 and 2 of the Kudankulam NPP.
They also carry out activities related to quality control during design and engineering as well as manufacturing of equipment in the framework of contractual relations of JSC Atomstroyexport for Units 3 and 4 of the Tianwan NPS.
JSC “VO “Safety” also conducts conformity assessment of equipment in the framework of contractual commitments with foreign regulatory authorities (Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority (BAERA), National Nuclear Safety Department (NNSD) of the Iranian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), etc.).
Current Projects
The specialists of JSC “VO “Safety” are currently proceeding with conducting product conformity assessment activities for the power units and nuclear power plants being operated and constructed abroad (Kudankulam NPP, Bushehr NPP, Rooppur NPP, etc.).
Expected Projects
The negotiations are currently under way for signing of the following Contracts:
- with the National Nuclear Safety Department (NNSD) of the Iranian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) under Bushehr NPP-2 project;
- with the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority under the El Dabaa NPP project;
- with the Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation (JNPC) under the Tianwan NPS project.
