Chairman of Rostechnadzor Aleksey Aleshin said the following in his interview to the magazine “Promyshlennost’ i bezopasnost” [“Industry and Safety”]: “If we have different tools, same information systems from which we as well as auditors and so on get data about the industrial safety level at a facility, then there will be no need for our inspector to come to a facility with planned inspections… The most important thing is that such audit should not simply result in some useful information, but it should be a legally significant fact so that we would be able to consider this audit in our work, to use conclusions drawn by auditors as a basis for our further actions in relation to the supervised organizations.”
