On November 19, 2025, the reactor pressure vessel for Unit 1 of the El Dabaa NPP was installed at the construction site in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt participated via videoconference in the official ceremony of installation of reactor pressure vessel for Unit 1 of the El Dabaa NPP, emphasizing the strategic importance of Russian-Egyptian cooperation in the peaceful use of atomic energy.

Director General of JSC “VO “Safety” participated in the event. The company provides a range of services within the El Dabaa NPP construction project, including nuclear and radiation safety issues.

The installation of reactor pressure vessel is a critical process milestone, confirming successful and timely completion of work on the first unit of the plant. The El Dabaa NPP project remains a key element of Egypt’s power infrastructure development program and an example of large-scale international cooperation in the nuclear industry.
