The Training and Methodological Center of the Krasnoyarsk Branches of JSC “VO “Safety” held a hands-on workshop on the development of the operation rules for hydraulic engineering structures of power engineering, industrial, agricultural, and engineering environment facilities. The event was arranged under the forum for discussions of safety issues in relation to hydraulic engineering structures and the development of a new area of work of the Branch Office.

Specialists of the Yenisei Department of the Federal Environmental, Industrial, and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia, as well as representatives of owners of hydraulic engineering structures and organizations operating hydraulic engineering structures of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk Region took part in the workshop activities.

The participants discussed the issues of development of the regulatory and legal framework, agreement and approval of operation rules for hydraulic engineering structures, requirements for their contents, structure, and composition. Special attention was given to the requirements for the content of sections (subsections) of the rules. Typical mistakes made by authors of documents during their development and approval were also discussed at the workshop.

In November, the Krasnoyarsk Branch is to hold a consultation in the form of a workshop on the development of a plan for the elimination of an accident at a hydraulic engineering structure.
