The Achinsk Work Group of the Training and Methodological Center of the Krasno-yarsk Branch Office of JSC “VO “Safety” (hereinafter referred to as the TMC) finishes its work in 2020 by training on “Occupational Safety” for managers and specialists of the Be-rezovskaya condenser-type thermal power station (GRES) owned by PJSC UNIPRO.

The training has been arranged with the use of distance learning technologies with the classes held online. To implement the technology, specialists of the TMC selected and successfully tested Jitsi Meet webinar platform. The participants positively assessed this type of training; they highlighted its practicality and convenience of urgent and efficient communication.

Deputy Director of the Branch, Head of the Training and Methodological Center of the Krasnoyarsk Branch Office of JSC “VO “Safety”, Aleksander Matvievskiy, noted that the advantages of such form of training include the possibility to hold such event for one to several dozens of people. Moreover, a video-conference is an ideal substitute for “off-line” classes and workshops, and it gives plenty of opportunities for a teacher and a student to communicate during a lesson. As for the employers and students, such form of training also has some advantages. Among them the fact that staff do not need to be personally present in the training center, and this saves time, money, and other resources. The use of state-of-the-art information technologies in the training process, as well as the imple-mentation of educational programs with the help of digital training and distance learning technologies, should be among the key priorities in the educational activity held by the TMC.
