JSC “VO “Safety” took part in the 9th meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee in Dhaka, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh (as part of the contract signed on December 30, 2021 with the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority (BAERA)).

Representatives of State Corporation Rosatom took part in the meeting, and managers of BAERA participated on the part of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The participants discussed a wide spectrum of issues regarding the construction of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant. Sharing opinions led to better understanding between the parties and reinforced cooperation in the field of nuclear safety and power industry.

The Rooppur NPP project is a vivid example of successful international cooperation and technical partnership opening new horizons for economic growth.
