Mr. Sergey Berdnikov, Deputy Director General of JSC “VO “Safety”, visited Petrozavodskmash, branch of JSC AEM-technology, the biggest manufacturer of the Republic of Karelia.

A meeting with employees of the Petrozavodsk Branch of JSC “VO “Safety” and representatives of Petrozavodskmash was held as part of the visit. The meeting participants discussed pressing issues over the equipment quality faced during manufacture of the equipment for the Akkuyu and Rooppur nuclear power plants, they examined key manufacturing shops, assessed the condition of the equipment, working processes and quality system achievements of Petrozavodskmash which contribute to higher efficiency of the manufacturing line and quality of the equipment.

The participants took part in a solemn ceremony and shipment of equipment for the Xudapu Nuclear Power Plant in China to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Petrozavodskmash.
