Within the framework of a business visit, JSC «VO «Safety» received the delegation of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority (BAERA) and Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC).

The key subject of discussions was the results of review and assessment of correction of deficiencies mentioned in the comments on the set of documentation for obtaining Class F License for commissioning of Rooppur NPP Unit 1. The BAERA and BAEC representatives highly appreciated the transparency of all stages of cooperation and emphasized a professional approach of JSC «VO «Safety» specialists.

Moreover, an important outcome of the visit was the discussion of the principles of long-term partnership in field of human resources development. The parties agreed to collaborate on the development of a modern system of state supervision, as well as to support the professional growth of experts in the Bangladesh nuclear industry.
