At the premises of the training and methodological center of the Krasnoyarsk Branch of JSC “VO “Safety”, a practical workshop was held on the issue of  “Commissioning and operation of hazardous facilities (elevators, platform lifts for the disabled, travelators (moving walkways), and escalators. Legal and regulatory support of the supervisory activity.”

Specialists of the Yenisei Department of the Federal Environmental, Industrial, and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia, as well as representatives of electric power industry facilities, executive authorities of the Krasnoyarsk region, health institutions, and specialized organizations attended the workshop.

The workshop covered issues related to commissioning of elevators, platform lifts for the disabled, travelators (moving walkways), and escalators, their maintenance and technical examination; mandatory requirements for the qualifications and responsibilities of the personnel involved into the operation, service, and maintenance thereof.

Based on the results of the survey among the participants, they highly appreciated the topicality of the workshop and noted that such form of communication is needed and helpful.
