In anticipation of the autumn and winter season (AWS) of 2019-2020, the Training and Methodological Center of the Krasnoyarsk Branch of JSC “VO “Safety” holds training for personnel of utilities and consumers of thermal energy who are directly involved into the operation of heating plants, their adjustment, regulation, testing, as well as for individuals, and their deputies, responsible for the operable condition and safe operation of the heating plants and networks.

Working with heating and thermal-mechanical equipment requires specialized training, knowledge, competences, and skills. For this very reason, operation and maintenance of the heating plants and networks can be performed by specialists who have taken appropriate training and passed exams which are to be annual as required by Operational Regulations for Customers’ Electrical Installations (PTEEP). Full and thorough studying and review of the training materials help to avoid or minimize faults in operation, process violations, accidents, and casualties occurred during the operation of equipment, and to make it through the heating season without interruptions in the essential services.

Training takes place in Krasnoyarsk, Abakan, Achinsk, and Lesosibirsk. It is provided both in the intra- and extra-mural forms with different training methods and techniques combined, including distance learning technologies and e-teaching. As for the training of the personnel, customers of such training point out the advantages of the distance learning form to learn the requirements of the rules and regulations, and this is predominantly because an employee can take this training in the on-the-job form.

Intra-mural training is held in specially equipped classrooms in the Training and Methodological Center.

The preparations for the AWS start well in advance of its official start. Thus, to this day, the Training and Methodological Center of the Krasnoyarsk Branch has already held training courses for about 1,100 individuals from the Krasnoyarsk region and Republic of Khakassia who are responsible for the operable condition and safe operation of heating plants and networks.
