Mr. Rostislav Rassokhov, Director General of JSC “VO “Safety”, on the delegation headed by Mr. Aleksey Ferapontov, Deputy Chairman of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor) took part in a working meeting on licensing and inspections at the headquarters of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority (BAERA).

During the visit, the delegation held a number of meetings at the headquarters regarding the Rooppur NPP construction progress and conducted a walk-down of the facilities that ensure readiness for the flushing of the safety systems to the open reactor, as well as ensure readiness for delivery of fresh nuclear fuel.

The General Framework Contract between JSC “VO “Safety” and BAERA was signed on November 18, 2016, under which the consulting and engineering services are rendered in the field of regulation of nuclear and radiation safety within the framework of the Rooppur NPP construction.
