From October 7, 2025, to October 11, 2025, a delegation from the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority (BAERA) paid a visit to participate in joint regulatory inspections at the enterprises manufacturing I&C equipment and electrical equipment for the Rooppur NPP in the Russian Federation.

During the visit, working meetings with BAERA representatives were held at JSC “VO “Safety” office where interim results of the work were summarized and prospects for further cooperation under the contract for the Rooppur NPP were reviewed. Furthermore, the visit included regulatory inspections during which meetings with representatives of LLC Moscow Plant FIZPRIBOR and JSC Protvino Pilot-Production Plant “Progress” were held.

This visit became an important step in strengthening cooperation in the field of nuclear power between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. JSC “VO “Safety” continues to actively develop international cooperation, contributing to nuclear and radiation safety.
