A delegation from JSC “VO “Safety” paid a working visit to the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority from April 13 to 17, 2025.

The goal of the visit was provision of consulting support to ENRRA during the discussion of resolution of deficiencies identified by the review of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) of El Dabaa NPP Unit 1 at the stage of construction. The discussion involved representatives of the Nuclear Power Plants Authority of Egypt, JSC ASE and JSC Atomenergoproekt, organisations responsible for design and construction of the El Dabaa NPP.

The JSC “VO “Safety” team provided comprehensive assistance to the Egyptian counterparts in the analysis of corrections to the PSAR and confirmed that the changes were in line with safety requirements. The consultations contributed to the advancement of ENRRA personnel skills and strengthened cooperation between the Russian and Egyptian nuclear energy specialists.
