JSC “VO “Safety” is holding a training course for representatives of embarking countries under the auspices of the IAEA

In the period of July 23 to 27, an international training course on the NPP licensing will take place in Moscow as arranged by JSC “VO “Safety” under IAEA technical cooperation project INT2018, “Supporting Knowledgeable Decision-making and Building Capacities to Start and Implement Nuclear Power Programmes”.

The objective of the course is to train and to introduce nuclear embarking countries to licensing of nuclear installations in relation to safety aspects.

Representatives of the following embarking countries take part in the event: Algeria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Vietnam, Ghana, Egypt, Zambia, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, UAE, Poland, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sudan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Chile, Sri Lanka.

Among the lecturers there will be representatives of Rostechnadzor and its technical support organizations, JSC “VO “Safety” and SEC NRS, together with experts of countries with mature nuclear technologies and the IAEA.
