In the period of September 2 till 7, representatives of the Central Office of JSC VO “Safety” were performing acceptance and quality control of equipment produced by Sempell GmbH (Korschenbroich, Germany) for Unit 3 of the Beloyarsk NPP.

Under a contract with JSC Concern Rosenergoatom, experts of JSC “VO “Safety” inspected the state of the products for their compliance with the requirements of federal regulations NP-071-18 and GOST R 50.06.01-2017. Components were inspected in the form of acceptance and testing of spares for isolating valves, namely, wedge valves and plug, Belleville washers, and rings.

Sempell GmbH has been on the market for over 135 years. The company specializes in producing isolating, safety, and control valves to be delivered to energy generating facilities, including nuclear power plants.
