JSC “VO“ Safety” specialists checked and confirmed readiness of the production facilities of the German Company – TAPROGGE GmbH to start manufacturing of equipment for the Akkuyu NPP. Ball-collecting device, pressure difference measurement system and local control system cabinet of ball-cleaning system will be manufactured in the near future.

Ball-collecting device is a part of the condenser tube ball-cleaning system and is designed to trap cleaning rubber balls from the condenser cooling water flow. The device is installed on the main cooling water discharge line.

The pressure difference measurement system is a part of the turbine’s cooling systems equipment and is designed to control fouling of filter elements, as well as to control the process of their cleaning.

Local control system cabinet of the ball-cleaning system (local control system cabinet of pre-filter) is a part of the turbine’s cooling systems equipment, designed to control, switch and monitor power supply for power consumers of ball-cleaning system and pre-filter equipment.
