A conference was held on November 23, 2018, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of JSC “VO “Safety”. Representatives of Rostechnadzor headed by its Chairman Aleksey Aleshin took part in the event together with representatives of partner organizations such as JSC Concern Rosenergoatom, JSC EC ASE, JSC VPO ZAES, Rusatom Overseas, Akkuyu Nuclear JSC, and SEC NRS.

The results of the company’s work were summed up during the event. “Over 25 years of continuous work, we have gathered a vast body of knowledge, experience, and skills which we keep on improving with further implementation of nuclear projects,” Deputy Director General of JSC “VO “Safety” Vyacheslav Gorchakov said.

The staff of JSC “VO “Safety” took part in such large-scale projects as the construction of the first unit of the Bushehr NPP in Iran, units of Tianwan NPS in China, Kudankulam NPP in India. At the present day, our specialists are rendering a set of expert services under the scope of implementation of the construction projects of the Rooppur NPP in Bangladesh and the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey. They are also about to launch the review of the design documentation for nuclear and radiation safety justification of the Bushehr-2 NPP. Vitally important and huge pre-contractual work has been performed under the framework of the El Dabaa NPP project in Egypt. JSC “VO “Safety” efficiently and effectively implements its commitments under the contracts and agreements in the field of use of atomic energy signed with Russian customers JSC Concern Rosenergoatom and JSC Atomstroyexport.

Chairman of Rostechnadzor Aleksey Aleshin congratulated the staff of JSC “VO “Safety” and said: “Being a technical support organization, JSC “VO “Safety” performs a wide range of tasks related to assistance to embarking countries in the development of their national safety regulatory infrastructure. The company is active in quality control during the manufacture and acceptance of high-technology products. All of these things give reason to express our confidence in the accomplishment of the tasks set for the Company.”

Over 110 specialists of the company got awards of Rostechnadzor, JSC “VO “Safety”, SC Rosatom, and JSC EC ASE.
