JSC “VO “Safety” Renders Consulting Services to NET IC

In December 2019, the representatives of the Training and Qualification Center of JSC “VO “Safety” (TQC) made a working visit to the Turkish Republic and took part in the workshop on “Nuclear Power Plants. Qualification and Certification Requirements for the Turkish Industry in the Field of Procurement of Products and Services”. The event was arranged by the Nuclear Energy Training Inspection Center (NET IC) in the framework of the long-term agreement on specialists’ training made with JSC “VO “Safety” in 2017.

In the course of the workshop the parties discussed the procedure of educational services rendering with the aid of programs and materials developed by JSC “VO “Safety”. Special attention was paid to the “Safety Culture” course as well as conformity assessment of products forming the basis of the requirements related to assurance of safety in the field of atomic energy use. Much interest was aroused by the reports of the specialists of the JSC “VO “Safety” TQC on the following topics: “Safety and Risks at Nuclear Power Plants. International Nuclear Safety Rules. Regulatory Documents of the Russian Federation in the Field of Nuclear Safety. Nuclear Safety Regulatory System”, “Requirements for the Companies Supplying Equipment and Services for Nuclear Power Plants”, “Concept of the Safety Culture. IAEA Recommendations on Arrangement and Observance of the Safety Culture at the Enterprise”.

Ms. Kseniya Savina, Head of the JSC “VO “Safety” TQC, stated, “The professional training program developed by our specialists will help NET IC representatives come to a more proficient and efficient level of education in the field of atomic energy use. Selection of JSC “VO “Safety” as a partner organization by NET IC and the interest taken by the audience attest to the high profile of JSC “VO “Safety” in the international environment.”
