The Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) with the consultancy support from JSC “VO “Safety” (technical support organization of Rostechnadzor) issued the Construction Permit for El Dabaa NPP Unit 2 to the Nuclear Power Plants Authority (NPPA). The decision has been taken by the ENRRA Board on results of the inspection of the construction site as well as the review and assessment of the safety analysis documentation for El Dabaa NPP Unit 2.

It should be recalled that JSC “VO “Safety” is rendering engineering and consultancy services for ENRRA in the framework of the Contract made in 2019. “We highly appreciate our cooperation with ENRRA. On our part, we will continue rendering support to ensure the highest safety standards during the construction of the El Dabaa NPP”, highlighted Alexei Gorbachev, Acting Director General of JSC “VO “Safety”.
