Joint Stock Company “VO “Safety” (scientific and technical support organization of Rostechnadzor) and the delegation of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, consisting of representatives of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulatory Authority (BAERA) and the Atomic Energy Commission of Bangladesh (BAEC) held a number of meetings and negotiations as part of the working visit of the delegation to Moscow. The parties discussed the current state of cooperation, summed up the results of joint work and outlined short-term plans.

The program of the delegation’s visit also included a visit to the manufacturers of equipment for the Rooppur NPP. Together with specialists from JSC “VO “Safety”, representatives of BAERA and BAEC visited JSC Power Machines and the branch of JSC AEM Technologies Izhora (St. Petersburg), as well as the branch of JSC AEM Technologies Petrozavodskmash (Petrozavodsk) to get familiarized with the production processes and control the quality of products manufactured for the Rooppur NPP.

It should be noted that the General Framework Contract between JSC “VO “Safety” and BAERA for provision of the consulting and engineering services within the framework of the Rooppur NPP construction project was signed on November 18, 2016.
