From June 29 to July 3, 2026, a delegation from the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Türkiye (hereinafter referred to as NDK) visited JSC “VO “Safety” to conduct its annual scheduled audit.

The primary objective of the NDK delegation’s visit was to verify compliance by JSC “VO “Safety” with the terms and conditions of Certificate No. TR-SR-NYDKYB-002 dated March 30, 2018, during conformity assessment activities for products manufactured for the Akkuyu NPP, including an evaluation of the performance of the JSC “VO “Safety” quality management system.

During the visit, specialists from JSC “VO “Safety” presented updated information to their Turkish counterparts on work performed under the Contract with AKKUYU NÜKLEER A.Ş. and Certificate TR-SR-NYDKYB-002 dated March 30, 2018. They also provided the integrated quality management system documentation regulating the procedure for the conformity assessment of products manufactured for the Akkuyu NPP.

NDK representatives highly commended the professional competencies of the JSC “VO “Safety” specialists, strict compliance with the Russian and international standards, and the transparency of internal audit procedures.

The successful audit demonstrated a high level of trust and a strategic partnership between the Russian and Turkish specialists.
