For the first time JSC “VO “Safety” and National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI” have signed a Cooperation Agreement to share experience in educational, methodological, as well as scientific and practical activities. The Institute for Laser and Plasma Technologies being a structural unit of MEPhI implements the Agreement on behalf of the University.

Joint research and development activities and joint scientific events (conferences, workshops, etc.) are among the key goals of the cooperation. Moreover, the plans on cooperation include joint educational programs within the scope of professional training, bilateral training and practical events, practical training, and classes with next-generation young specialists to enhance their professional knowledge and skills.

“Making an agreement with the NRNU MEPhI is one of the priorities of strategic development. We are deeply interested in recruiting well-trained young specialists, and we are ready to share our longstanding and unique experience. And students will have an opportunity to learn about the practical side of the profession they have chosen. And for us it will be a chance to find talents to ensure efficient capacity building of the company,” said Vladimir Tikhonov, Director General of JSC “VO “Safety”.
