In the period of August 27 to 31, international training course \u201cSafety Review and Assessment by the Regulatory Body\u201d took place in Moscow. The course was arranged by JSC \u201cVO \u201cSafety\u201d under IAEA technical cooperation project INT2018, \u201cSupporting Knowledgeable Decision-making and Building Capacities to Start and Implement Nuclear Power Programmes\u201d.<\/p>\n
The objective of the course was to train and to introduce nuclear embarking countries to safety assessment and review for nuclear facilities.<\/p>\n
Representatives of the following embarking countries took part in the event: Algeria, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Ghana, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Philippines.<\/p>\n
Representatives of IAEA, JSC \u201cVO \u201cSafety\u201d, and experts from Pakistan and South Korea were among the lecturers.<\/p>\n
