May 28-29 – Head of the Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) Hojatollah Salehi had a meeting with the Chairman of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia (Rostechnadzor) Aleksey Aleshin who had a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Head of JSC \u201cVO \u201cSafety\u201d Vladimir Tikhonov being a member of Rostechnadzor\u2019s delegation took part in the event aimed at discussions of cooperation development prospects. At the meeting, he identified in his report possible areas of services to be rendered to the Iranian Nuclear Regulatory Authority during the construction of the Bushehr-2 NPP.<\/p>\n
The meeting resulted in an agreement between JSC \u201cVO \u201cSafety\u201d and the Iranian Nuclear Regulatory Authority to expand their cooperation significantly.<\/p>\n
