An official delegation headed by Deputy Chairman of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia (Rostechnadzor) Aleksey Ferapontov and Director General of JSC “VO “Safety” Rostislav Rassokhov paid a visit to the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA).

Dr. Samy Shabaan Ata-Allah, Chairman of ENRRA, represented the Egyptian party.

During the working visit, the parties summarized the interim results of their cooperation and discussed the plan for joint activities for the current year, including cooperation in inspection activities and the use of software tools (express codes).

The Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) and JSC “VO “Safety” cooperate under the framework of the Contract signed in February 2019 in relation to assistance in ensuring the high safety standards in the course of the construction of the El Dabaa NPP.
